Gifts under office hours, in the beautiful city hall of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Last week, together with Mirjam Timmermans, I attended a lecture by Erik Scherder. For the first time I saw him not on television, but live. An inspiring meeting, especially since he has been working for people with Cerebral Palsy for years.
But the real highlight of the day? That was when Marianne van der Sloot introduced me to the mayor of the Municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Now that I have handed over the baton of Ictoria.nl, there is room to make an impact outside the familiar paths. And what better way to do that than meeting with the mayor to explore together how we can strengthen participation in the region?
