I am a pragmatic and flexible professional with the ambition as a manager to guide complex policy and change processes in the public sector
and implement them. With social ease, humour and my natural leadership, I connect people and am honest and direct. I am at my best when I can and may implement improvements at the service of the organisation, the team or the client, whereby my advice is in line with the organisational strategy.

My focus is on achieving sustainable improvements, with an eye for balance between people, organisation and society. Together with my colleagues, I want to make a difference by contributing to projects that have a positive impact on society.

As an employment participation specialist, I am affiliated with the Breedweer group, which includes the organizations Ictoria and Xtoria, which I successfully set up, as of February 2025. Bringing ictoria and Xtoria under the Breedweer group makes one of my big wishes come true! As HR business partner labor participation & Impact, I deal with inclusive HR policy developments, strategic projects and developing an impactful vision for the HR department. This will give a large group of people with employment challenges the opportunity to move from waiting list to payroll. With knowledge gained from me, the Breedweer group will not only make great strides, but we will collectively change the system. In this, Breedweer and I myself are a good match.

Zorgbelang Brabant|Zeeland

Participation project leader

Whereas regular project work consists of organising and reporting documents, within this role at Zorgbelang Brabant|Zeeland, the focus is on making connections, and I focus on connecting and involving patients, clients, residents, municipalities, national government and, where necessary, healthcare professionals.

I do this by supporting and/or guiding sounding board groups, a citizens’ consultation or community building. Because a good citizens’ initiative, or other form of involvement, benefits everyone.

Based on my expertise in the field of reintegration, job mediation and job creation, I am a regular guest on (large) stages at (inter)national conferences, in podcasts and magazines as a speaker on topics such as the job agreement, social entrepreneurship, inclusive employment and I regularly write blogs and columns for, for example, UWV magazine. I am also writing a book about my life as a social entrepreneur in the field of labor participation.

As Businesscoach at the project Onbeperkt Ondernemen organised by the Bartimeusfonds and the Postcode Lottery, I helped other entrepreneurs with a physical or mental challenge.

Co-owner
Ictoria BV / Xtoria BV – Boxmeer / ‘s-Hertogenbosch

As co-owner, I am responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations within Ictoria and Xtoria. This micro-level management function includes various tasks to ensure effective business operations.

These include reviewing operational matters within the
organisation at two locations and, if necessary, making adjustments or implementing improvement proposals. Ictoria BV is a social multimedia company. Besides my organisational activities as co-owner, as a reintegration specialist I also deal with the recruitment of candidates with a distance to the labour market and the sustainable connection with their future employers. In this context, I advise other organisations on inclusive business practices and regularly visit job fairs, events and trade shows.

Xtoria BV is the company which deals with the reintegration of long-term jobseekers through a tailor-made approach.

As Project Management Officer, I ensured that all programme managers and management were provided with the right information. I contributed to improving and connecting the PMO department and the innovation process. As project leader, I implemented the necessary projects and brought in improvements. These included Multi Touch Tables, VoIP within the OM (sub-project), setting up KCC and changing IT supplier (sub-project).

2016 - 2018

Incident Management Officer
DVOM/I – Utrecht

For this position, I was specifically recruited to bridge the gap between the IT organisation and the business ‘the Public Prosecution Service’. I provided both substantive and functional support. I also held other roles with other activities.

Process improvement
I contributed to process and quality improvements in the Transition team and took a leading role in the quality process.

Transition team
To give the transition a soft landing, I collected input from colleagues using various communication streams. In addition, I drew up a plan to improve image and connectivity. This included a quick reference map and several handbooks to support employees support.

Service Level Management
I set up the Service Level Management for DVOM/I in combination with a standard Service Level Management with the working method and agreements that were coordinated via the relationship manager was coordinated with the business and suppliers.

I was recruited specifically to set up and improve the services of the OM Service Portal for the Ressortsparketet (public prosecutor’s office), using the set-up document as a starting point. With a view to the further development and innovation of SPOM and the Ressortsparketet, I also picked up and contributed to various other issues.
