“One of the misconceptions of the century is that disabled people are sick a lot. Nadia proves just the opposite with her company Ictoria.nl. At Ictoria, people with disabilities can develop and move on to other companies.

‘I want to help the go-getters, with lots of skills and growth potential. Because partly because of the image people with a disability get unjustifiably few opportunities in the labor market.’ For example, one of the permanent employees at Ictoria started with a trial placement. And another employee came to Ictoria via a job coach from UWV.

‘We work as an intermediate station; a place where people with a disability can develop and then move on to other companies. Here we show what working with people with a disability is really like. With success! Because several Ictorians have now moved on to companies we worked with.
